About Francisca
Francisca is an actress, singer, songwriter, and a proud member of Actors Equity. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Honors) in Music Performance, Theatre and Composition from Western Sydney University, Australia.
Born in Chile, raised in Sydney, Australia, she calls herself an "Australian Latina," who has been able to combine and nurture both of these beautiful cultures, making her a unique individual. In 2012, she moved to Miami to pursue her career in the arts; now proudly calling New York home.
She recently appeared on Stars In The House with Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley- Celebrating the Life of Doreen Montalvo.
Off-Broadway credits include: Mrs. Delgado in Felix Starro (Theatre Row, NY), Maria in The Last Jew of Boyle Heights (The Actors Temple NY). Regional theatre credits include: Beatriz in Miss You Like Hell (Theatre Squared), Originating the role of Julia in the World Premiere Musical; Somewhere Over The Border (Syracuse Stage and Geva Theater Center) Letter writer #2 in Tiny Beautiful Things (Theatre Squared), Amalia in American Mariachi (Theatre Squared), Frida Kahlo/Rufina Amaya/Alfonsina Storni in Tres Vidas (The Core Ensemble), Arella/Natalie in Informed Consent (The Gable Stage), Katherine Wright in Kitty Hawk (Adrienne Arsht Center), Terry in Extremities (Abyss Theatre), Merry Murderess in Chicago (Boca Raton Theatre Guild), and Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing (Outre Theatre). Television credits include; Abuela in the Television special Our Lady Lupe (PBS), Med Tech in FBI Most Wanted (CBS), Australian Idol Finalist (Ten Networks). New Media credits include: supporting roles in Follow The Leaders and Earth 2050 (Zen Film).
Outside of theatre, Francisca is an avid songwriter, and has an original EP, titled Colors of Me, which is an ode to her artistic diversity. The EP is available on Spotify, iTunes and all major music streaming platforms.
